As a result of help from Councillor Buchan,  South West Neighbourhod partnership have offered to install the new lighting we have planned when we are have recovered our Gardens from Scottish Power,and at the same time they are carring out a reconstruction to our Footpaths, as in this file.

We are still pursuing funding in many directions, and will keep you informed.

At the Scottish Power Community Update meeting on 1st June, Angela Reddington informed local residents that works have been delayed due to an unexpected abnd of very hard rock. She assured residents that they are doing "everything possible" to complete the works as quickly as possible however this is unlikely to be before the winter.

As soon as Angela knows more they will update residents, and she is planning another community update meeting for September 2009. Please call Angela direct if you have any concerns or would like more information.
